I was on my way home from class listening to the song 'waiting in vain' by Bob Marley. The song is about a man not wanting to wait in vain for this woman's love. I flipped and was thinking about Jesus and waiting until I get to go to heaven. I don't want to be waiting in vain. If i'm not doing something productive in my life working on being part of the kingdom and glorifying God I see as as doing something in vain. A though came to mind about not saying the the Lords name in vain. I wonder if what that meant was that if God was saying if you aint' even trying to follow me keep my name from your mouth.
