What treaty that the white man ever made with us have they kept? Not one. When I was a boy the Sioux owned the world; the sun rose and set on their land; they sent ten thousand men to battle. Whey are the warriors today? ...What law have I broken? Is it wrong for me to love my own? Is it wicked for me because I was born where my father lived; Because I would die for my people and my country? Hunkpapa Lakota (Sitting Bull 1831-1890)

I respect the Natives. Strong people willing to die for their people. I feel bad about how they were put into reservations though. I remember being young and hearing stories my dad used to tell me about the Apache indians. And how wild and hard core they used to be. He used to tell me stories about how the Mexican cowboys would get attacked by the apache because of the cowboys bad reputation of trying to take the apache women.
