Feliz Dia Del Amor Y La Amistad everybody....
Little Mathew from our afterschool program made my day when he came up to me and handed me a valentines day card. This was nice. I miss my elementary years, when I would come home with a little paper bag made during art class. So, when it was valentines day we could used so the classmates can deposit their cards for us. Good times. I think I still have some stored up at my moms house.
A friend of mine came to visit me today. He goes to school in Lancaster. It was good to see im and catch up. We were remembering our glory days of high school football during the afterschool program. We played some football with the kids at Harambee before heading out to Eastlos for dinner at El Tepeyac. But we didn't make to the restaurant. We stopped at the bank of america that is on Cesar Chavez to get some cash but we ended up eating on the side of the street. The food was good. I can't remember the name of the cross street. But if you know where that bank of america is you know what i'm talking about. Its not too far for Evergreen. After eating we walked up and down that shopping area flirting with the young girls that would try to get us to come in to their shops. Just a couple of vatos locos chillin' on the boulevard.
Here are some photos. Go get some food there.
The lady got excited when I told her I was going to give here some publicity. If you go get some quesadillas de chicharron, they are the bomb. But make sure you get them fried. She makes the tortillas hand made. Just make sure she frieds them.
Thats my friend Rolando all the way in the back holding the cup.
On our way leaving Eastlos we saw this on one of the buildings.
Pepper is weird...I mean by the way she sleeps. All four in the air.
She is quite the model though when it comes to taking pictures of her.
On Saturday night I went to a church in North Hollywood to accompany a friend to a concert. This is his niece Tonya, isn't she a cutie.
Well, i'm out for the night. Need to rest for the job hunt tomorrow.
