Job hunt continues and the more exciting it gets. I've been applying at different places mainly restaurant work. Which is the easiest to get if you are in the position that am in. Some of you who know me personally know what I mean. At the moment i'm applying in different places as I wait for people to maybe call me. This morning I went and applied at jack 'n crack. Thats what the kids call it around here. I went to apply there 1. becuaes one of the moms of the kids I tutor said I should, she works there. 2. One of the guys in my bible study said I should go ahead and do it.
I looked on the Lake avenue helping hand and called a couple places that were hiring. One is assiting the elderly and the other is 'Wolfe Burgers' on Lake.
Being mojado is a hard thing when it comes to finding work but its good at the same time. I like work and encourage it. Work is work my dad would say.

I got a job offer through one of the local churches that has an out reach ministry with the day laborers. This job would ideal for me. I come from a migrant family and know how to talk to my people and at the same time be a bridge between God and them. The job offered free rent, $1000 a month and a great ministry team to work with. One problem only, soy ilegal. But oh well. The hunt continues.
