Getting ready do go to bed here. Today was quite an adventure for me. I got up and drove up to get some bread from my friend the blind baker. I got some Messican croissants for our community dinner together before Christmas. That was good times. We had church, the sermon was delivered by Blair, good job mijo. After that we hung out while food was ready. Food was good but better was the fellowship. Its always a joy listening to John, Blair and Dan talk smack and tell jokes.
After our cena we played the white elephant game. I ended up with a funky present that i'm sure Lone is going to be trippin' about once I put it up on the living room television (I'll put pictures up as soon as i get a hold of a digital).
After that I came home and slacked off for a while then I went up to La CaƱada to look at some stuff. After that I went over to Hastings Ranch. Both of those missions were quite boring. So I decided to come home. And its weird, I don't recall my time driving from Hastings ranch to my house.
Around 6pm, my friend Denisse and her coworker Neomi picked me up to go to church. The service was exceptionally good today. I was kind of not digging the worship. What can I say, Sergio has issues with worship leaders and the way the lead worship. Nay way, the sermon was good, Tom layed it down and it was good. Talking about Joseph and Mary. I was thinking about Jesus and the parents that raised Him. A lot of poeple tend to over spiritualize things. I don't want to go too much into this because I prolly wouldn't get my thinking right across this medium of communication. I am looking forward to digging into this with my bible study. After sevice and during fellowshippin' Denisse brought up the idea of starting a bilingual small group. I met a few more pelple today. Lets see if I remember names, Rober, Aron, Johnny, and a couple girls from Argentina. Oh well, after that we came home.
What the heck did I do saturday? Oh yeah, I remember. Well I stayed home until about 11am waiting for the sleep over kids to get picked up. Erik and Lone left to help Joel and Cristi move into their new home. After the kiddies left. I was driving Chuy, one of the guys I mentor, to Azusa when he asked me if he could come with me to downtown LA. I've trying to let them iniciate with me so I didn't hesitate to say yes. I turned around and driving West on the 210 instead of East. At first we ended up driving through downtown looking for Cotters, which is an all Catholic supply store. I didn't find it. I called Ana so I coudl get directions but she never called me back. After looking around and not finding it. We drove to Mercado La Paloma which is I can't remember what street its on. We bought some presents for my family and then we headed over to East LA. Traffic sucked. So, we went to El Mercadito in Eastlos. We ate lunch there, it was packed.
After that I took Chuy home and came back to mi casa. I showered and went to picked up my friend Eric to head over to south central to kick it with some servant partners interns. I'm happy to say I came out victorious in a very long game of spoons. After Spoons we played three rounds of Mafia before comeing home. Let it be known that I'm officially a fan of Mafia. After Mafia we came back to Pasadena.
