ROAD TRIPPIN'
The trip up was something. We left Pasadena at 4am Sunday morning and pulled in at 12:30am monday. I drove all the way up by myself which was hard and challenging. I stopped twice to sleep for 20mins. And am commited to never doing that again, driving by myself that is. The original plan was for a friend of mine to accompany me but he couldn't do to his job commitment.

We pulled in and went straight to my moms house were we spent the night. It was good having one of my older brothers come in and wake us up. After we got up, we showered and prepared for our day. Then we drove to one of my pastor's home to eat brunch. It was good to see some of the Manna Team and hang out with them. We ate then drove to buy some medicine for Chuy. He has a little cold. Then we went to my moms house to rest. I got a chance to read and pray.

At 1:45pm we pulled into Con Amigos which is where we served today. We set up a gazibo and played basketball and soccer with the local kids, ate trail mix and dranked mexican hot chocolate from Con Amigos coffee hut. It was good. After that we came and made dinner at Pastor Lynn's home. After dinner we had movie night with Tony, Lynn and Katie Noland. Katie Nolad is a graduate of Azusa Pacific. She volunteed at Harambee Prep. She currently lives here and is planning on moving back to Cali.

Tonight we rest. I have no other plans. On Wednesday we are going to Jubilee to visit Ramiro and ride horses. After Jubilee we are picking my mom up from work and coming to her house. She is making us Enchiladas for dinner. Can't wait.

Prayer: Please pray that there is more bonding within the boys. I been trying to break the Latino barrier many Latinos build around them. Which makes it hard to get along with other raices. Two of my guys have it and they are having a hard time understanding it. Please pray for me, I get annoyed sometimes with them. Patience Lord patience.

Redding Cali, we stopped for lunch at 4pm.

This is actually one our way up from Cali. The boys first time touching snow. Me and bryan stayed in the van because it was way too cold.

Can't be in the snow and not have a snow ball fight....kind of.

We are having breakfast at The Manna House all week. The two girls you don't recognize are Anita and Asalia, Asalia is the little one. Anita is part of the Manna Team which does ministry in one of the migrant communities here in the Tri-cities. Both her and her hubby Tony just moved into the apt. complex where most of the kids they work with live. Anita made scrabled huevos con bacon for us this morning. They were good. We are staying at the their apartment.

After breakfast we helped them put up a Gazebo (spll?) near thir drive thru coffee hut. The funding from the coffee hut is used to pay for ministry expenses and to support other ministrys. I'll put more pics later. They all get a free drink everyday.

Play a little football and waiting for the kids to come out so we could hang out with them. The Manna Team is one of the ministries we are volunteering with. In the afternoon the guys are organizing soccer and basketball games for the children this ministry serves.

Rigo playing with one of the little kids that showed up. It reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite.

Asalia, one of the little girls that has been hanging out with us a lot.

Playing a little basketball.

(Tuesay)
Yo! waz up peeps. I'm cooling at a starbunk listening to Digable Planets and easing down a frappuchino.

Today we ate breakfast then we headed to my brothers house to visit my nephews and jump on their gigantic trampoline. On Thursday we are going back over there to ride my nephews horse.

Tomorrow we go visit Ramiro and ride the horses at Jubilee. We are driving out there at 9am to have brunch with some of the guys there. After brunch we are going to chapel with the jubilee boys. I'll put up pictures of whats going on later.

Please keep us in prayer. Thank you.
