I pray everyone is doing well.  This is an quick update and a call for help.

One week ago this saturday, while coming back from celebrating Wendy's birthday we drove into a police check point.  Unfortunetly for W and I, I was the one driving.  Well, there is a law that came in effect that says if you are caught driving without a licence your car gets impounded for one month no exceptions.

Well, it scared us because California police can easily turn you into immigration for deportation.  We are thankful that didn't happen, but we do have to pay around $1400 in fines to get the car and for driving without a license and the ball ends there with that.

After all of this happen we decided we shouldn't wait for congress to pass any guestworker program or any of that.  A friend of Wendy and I that worked for INS encouraged us to wait for congress to
decide on the guestworker program.  We felt like we couldn't do that any more so this past saturday we went to talk to an immigration lawyer.

He reviewd our case and told us he doesn't see a problem when it comes to me getting my greencard, workpermit and all the other stuff I need whithin 6 months, maybe even less.  Here is the catch.  His repesentation is going to cost us $2500 plus the fees for submitting the paperwork and a fine for being here illegaly.

Here is how the fees are broken down:

Lawyer fees: $2500

Penalty fee:$1000

Paperwork fee: $765

A friend of us already gave us the money for the paperwork, all we need to come up with is the $1000 for the penalty and $750 down payment for the lawyer.  He told us he is willing to work with us and we can pay him the rest when I get my greencard.

We were not expecting
any of these expenses and we didn't not save for them.  So, we are in a bind and want to seek out help from all of you.  If you would like to help me out let me know, you can email me or call.  It would be a blessing to W, I and our baby E.We also ask that you keep this in prayer.

Blessings,

S,W and Baby E

One thing I look forward to in life is owning my own home. I lived with my parents until I was 17yrs. old before moving out. After that I have been renting which kind of irritates me because I feel like its a waste of money. My wife and I dream about living our lives out in San Diego, northern part. I hear its nicer there but for now we are in LA waiting for my wife to finish her MA and me finish my BA which feels like its taking an internity.
I'm transferring to Cal State LA from Fullerton because of LA's quarter system. I don't want to take any longer than I have to finishing my degree.

In other news, I feel the pressure from our racist government more as I get older. I felt it more the other day when me with another 77 plus illegals and one white guy got their cars towed and cited. My wife and I were coming back from eating out o her birthday, we still had the birthday cake our friends surprised her with when we get stopped at a police check point. I was driving the car. The officer citing us was a complete jerk and I'm not saying that because of what they did but because he was. After he asked me to exit the car I was going to ask him to let me have the rest of the keys back but I didn't even finish talking before he told me to calm down. Like I was being agressive with him. So, got one of our cars impounded and have to pay a fine for driving with out a licence. It sucks because there is nothing I can due to get my CA drivers license, i'm not legal yet.
After we exited the vehicle, I had to go to a table where the other pigs were taking peoples info down. Most of the guys around me getting cited were Hispanic except for one white dude. They pigs had translators at each table for all the dangerous illegal aliens. What pist me off the most was how they were making jokes amongst them, fucking pigs. They were say stuff like, "we got another one" and "A few more to go and we are good", "so do you guys want another half hour of over time or another hour." Pinches puercos. There were old ladies, pregnant women. Once they got their one haundred cars they packed up and left everyone there in the dark waiting to get picked up.
